A message from Richard Hammer, Mailscreen is my project. As of March 2004, I have been developing the software for a few years, off and on. Mailscreen expresses my belief about what is necessary for civil relations among people. No person's time is worthless. Every person whom we might approach should be given consideration if we hope for mutually beneficial exchange. As the Internet has developed it has become a vast common, a ground in which policing seems to be done badly, if at all. To me, what seems to be lacking in this environment is trusted middlemen, agents who specialize in representing particular interests. I hope that Mailscreen can become that, a trusted middleman. |
